Supernova im Schwan - Herbipollution - 26.09.2019
Hallo zusammen,
ganz frische Meldung von CalSky über eine Supernova im Schwan, unweit von Deneb:
R.A. = 21h09m25s.515, Decl. = +48°10'51".90 Mag 11.5, Type unknown
Die sollte mit unseren Mitteln recht gut zu sehen sein...fehlt nur noch eine Wolkenlücke.

CalSky gibt an, dass die Koordinaten nach dem Äquinoktium 2000.0 angegeben sind.

Zur vermeintlichen "Super"nova, die als AT2019qwf bezeichnet wird, fand ich auf dem Astronomentelegramm folgendes:
We obtained an optical spectrum of the source with the SED Machine (Blagorodnova et al. 2018) on the Palomar 60-inch telescope. The spectrum shows a red continuum from 4500 A to 9000 A, superimposed with broad emission lines of H alpha, H beta and O I at z = 0, classifying this source as a reddened galactic classical nova. Further follow-up is underway and multi-wavelength observations are encouraged.
... also "nur" eine Nova, die fast schneller wieder verschwindet als man sie beobachten kann!
